pl tb450b - preliminary 2013-06-12 5 wichtige hinweise zum betrieb der laserdiode: a) elektrischer betrieb: ? osrams laserdioden sind mi t dem ziel h?chster leistung und zuverl?ssigkeit gefertigt. der betrieb der laserdiode oberhalb der im datenblatt angegebenen maximalwerte kann jedoch die leistung und die zuverl?ssigkeit erheblich beeintr?chtigen. ? die laserdiode ist empfindlich gegenber elektrostatischen entladungen (esd). entsprechende vorsichtsma?nahmen sind zu treffen. die laserdiode sollte mit einer m?glichst rauscharmen stromversorgung betrieben werden. ? b) verarbeitungshinweise: ? ein geeignetes w?rmemanagement ist ausschlaggebend fr eine lange lebensdauer der laserdiode. auf grund des designs wird die in der diode erzeugte w?rme haups?chlich ber die grundplatte des geh?uses abgefhrt. es muss sichergestellt sein, dass eine ausreichend gut w?rmeleitende verbindung zwischen der diodengrundplatte und dem khlk?rper besteht. important notes of operation for laser diode: ? a) electrical operation: ? osram?s laser diodes are designed for maximum performance and reliability. operating the laser diode above the maximum rating even for very short periods of time can damage the laser diode or reduce its lifetime. the laser diode is sensitive to electrostatic discharge (esd). proper precautions must be taken. the laser diode must be operated with a suitable power supply with minimi zed electrical noise. ? ? ? ? b) mounting instructions: ? in order to maintain the lifetime of the laser diode proper heat management is essential. due to the design of the laser diode heat is dissipated only through the base plate of the diode?s body. a proper heat conducting interconnection between the diodes base plate and the heat sink must be maintained.
